Web Developer (Content Management) :

Position overview

As a Developer, you will be responsible for many aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) such as systems analysis, design, and development of new and existing application software. Enhancement requests which require application software modifications come in all sizes which may include epic user stories in addition to granular user stories. The Developer is also responsible for providing support and maintenance to existing application software to meet internal and external user requirements and service levels.


  • Develop workflows, build new content management templates and application customizations for the WCM application
  • Support existing content management implementations by debugging and troubleshooting
  • Administer and configure the content management system
  • Assist vendor and Content Owners with migration of current websites to new platform
  • Work with Content Owners to prioritize future development enhancements, estimate work effort, identify risks and report project status updates
  • Performs aspects of the CWT SDLC such as analysis, design, develop, debugging, and maintenance of new and existing systems
  • Plan and execute testing with emphasis on automation
  • Contributes to project plans for large projects and supports their implementation


  • Bachelor Degree, with a technology emphasis, or equivalent education/experience
  • 3 or more years previous software development

Skill set

  • Java, Servlets, Hibernate, Spring, SOAP/Rest Web Services, XML
  • HTML/CSS, JSP, MVC, Javascript, ExtJS, JQuery, YUI, AJAX
  • WebLogic, JBoss, Oracle, SQL
  • CI, Maven, Jenkins, Eclipse, jUnit
  • Experience working with Content Management System (CMS) such as, Adobe AEM or other CMS systems, a Plus
  • Excellent listening, oral, and written communications skills
  • Excellent organizational and coordination skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to deal effectively with change in a fast paced environment
  • Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) processes including Agile & Scrum
